STCW III/I Engineer Officer of the Watch (EOOW) – experienced seafarers and qualified engineers (earlier called as Class 4 course)

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Experienced Seafarer rating to EOOW
ou will need to apply to the college for a letter of acceptance onto the rating to EOOW programme as detailed in MSN1857 (M+F).
You need a minimum of 24 months sea service as a watch rating
When applying to the college you will need to send in copies of your sea service testimonial’s for a total of 24 months together with copy of your passport, medical certificate, watch rating certificate and all STCW certificates as listed in MSN1857 which can be accessed via the following link. PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
On successful completion of the course you can progress to senior ranks of Second and Chief Engineering Officer will follow further training.
